Brad Pitt Reportedly Fighting For Joint Custody Amid Angelina Jolie Divorce

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly met in person recently to work out their ongoing divorce settlement. The main issue at the moment is the custody of the children. The two currently have a temporary arrangement that allows Pitt to see his kids, and are looking to find a permanent solution.

According to a report by US Weekly, Pitt and Jolie met twice recently at Los Angeles to discuss the divorce settlement, the most recent on being on Jan. 30. A source familiar with the proceedings said that the two have met before to talk about the pending issues.

One of the issues they have to settle is the custody of their six kids. A second source said that they have a “foundation” on which they can build on and move forward peacefully. Pitt is reportedly looking to be a “present dad and a coparent” of the children.

Pitt and Jolie were supposed to take their divorce to trial by early December, but they managed to avoid that by coming to an arrangement. An insider from Pitt’s camp has confirmed that the two will be getting joint physical and legal custody of the children.

Jolie filed for a divorce in September 2016 after two years of marriage. The two actors have been in a relationship ever since they met on the sets of their film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” Their six children are Knox and Vivienne, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax, and the eldest Maddox.
