U2 has been forced to postpone its weeklong residency on The Tonight Show, after Bono suffered some sort of bicycle mishap in Central Park and was forced to have surgery on his. In a statement, the rest of the band say they’re “sure he’ll make a full recovery soon,” and suggest that the Tonight Show gig will be rescheduled.
This accident occurs on the same week as the door to Bono’s private jet fell off in mid-flight from Dublin to Berlin, and just a few weeks after he revealed that he wears his sunglasses because of glaucoma. We’re not saying you should ease up on Bono for poisoning your iPhone, but the guy does seem to be having a rough few weeks.
